Melissa Davis brings a unique set of business skills to her relationships with buyers and sellers in the real estate market. As an investor herself, she is sensitive to her clients’ needs at every stage of the transaction process.

Melissa joined Flat Iron Real Estate after working as a Vice-President at JPMorgan Chase for several years. She left JPMC to complete her MBA at Wharton, at which point, she turned her attention to working in real estate. When Flat Iron broker, Suzanne Stern, assisted her in the purchase of a Manhattan loft, she realized that her skills in negotiations, marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship would apply well to the industry.

In order to offer superb customer service, Melissa limits the number of clients she works with at one time. She works patiently with each client and applies a creative, tasteful approach to sales. Her goal is to ensure that clients are not only satisfied with the end result but also the process she follows to get there.

Melissa moved to New York City after receiving her B.A. in applied mathematics at Dartmouth College. She considers herself a New Yorker at heart and is eager to help others settle into the city as she has.
